This policy describes the limited data used by York Residents Directory, an independent reference to York and Pennsylvania public-record sources. No account is required, and the site does not host government record files.

Information Sent Directly

Names, phone numbers, and addresses entered into a search form are sent to the provider operating that result service. York Residents Directory does not retain a copy of those searches on its own servers. If you contact us, we receive the information included in your message and use it to respond.

Automatic Technical Data

Our host may record standard server-log information, including an IP address, browser type, viewed pages, and timestamps. We use aggregate information to maintain the service and understand general usage. Cookies or similar tools may support ordinary analytics or advertising measurement.

Use of Limited Data

Technical and contact data is used to operate, protect, measure, and improve the service. We do not sell visitor lists or create individual visitor profiles from the limited information described here.

County and state portals, archives, libraries, and sponsored result providers are outside this policy. Their own privacy terms govern information submitted on their pages, including a search placed in a third-party results tool.

Hosting, analytics, and advertising providers may process the technical data needed to provide their services. Information may also be disclosed when required by valid legal process. We do not otherwise share it for unrelated purposes.
